Circlesong Session at Peterskirche Lindau: An Hour Full of Voices

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the over 1100-year-old Peterskirche on Lindau Island transforms into an open sound space. Robert Pakleppa invites you to the Circlesong Session: a communal singing event where intuitive vocal improvisation, spontaneous songs, and vocal loops arise in the moment.

When Voices Become a Common Sound

There is no fixed setlist and no concert from a safe distance. The visitors themselves become part of the musical movement. From individual voices grow layers, rhythms, and harmonies that come together in the church space to create a multi-voiced live atmosphere.

Improvisation with Vocal Loops and Intuitive Conducting

Robert Pakleppa attentively guides the group through changing soundscapes. His work combines musical improvisation, resonance, and encounter. Vocal loops, repetitions, and spontaneous melodies merge into an orchestration without sheet music. Each session develops its own sound and remains unrepeatable.

Just the Joy of Singing Is Enough

The Circlesong Session is aimed at people with and without singing experience. No prior knowledge is required. What matters is openness, presence, and the joy of creating sound together. The audience's mood grows not through volume, but through attention, synchronization, and trust in the moment.

A Special Sound Place on Lindau Island

The Peterskirche, with its historic architecture and distinctive acoustics, creates an impressive setting for vocal improvisation. Among ancient walls, every note finds space, reverberation, and meaning. The concert experience connects a spiritual atmosphere with modern group improvisation.

Conclusion: An Encounter That Becomes Audible

The Circlesong Session is an invitation to let go of musical boundaries and bring your own voice into a vibrant community. Anyone who desires an unusual, immediate, and communal sound experience will find an evening in Lindau on November 7, 2026, that finds its final form only in the shared singing.
