External New Start on the Sideline
New Start at FC Lindau: Andre Krzyminski Takes Over as Coach
FC Lindau is setting a new sporting course for the coming season: Andre Krzyminski is taking over as coach and will henceforth bear sporting responsibility. The new coach has already been introduced to the team at an initial meeting – an early step that is understood within the club as a deliberate signal for clarity and a structured transition into the new season.
An External Impulse – and a Break Without Old Baggage
The decision for Krzyminski at FC Lindau is explicitly linked to the idea of a new start. The club is deliberately relying on a coach who has not previously worked directly with the team. This fresh perspective from the outside is seen as an opportunity: processes can be reassessed without previous role distributions or old dynamics automatically continuing.
For the players, this means a new start under changed conditions – essentially, the new season begins "from scratch." The club expects not only new sporting impulses from Krzyminski, but also development in daily work: clearer processes, consistent training management, and a shared framework that equally supports sporting goals and team spirit. The fact that Krzyminski has so far not been active as a player or coach in this football district makes the task particularly special – and at the same time underlines the approach of deliberately choosing a fresh take on the team.
The Path to Lindau Leads Through the Wagner Brothers
The contact came about through Andreas Wagner and Georg Wagner. Both had taken over the coaching position at short notice in the winter and wanted to end their role again in the summer. Through their connections, the exchange with Krzyminski came about, who is now taking over the position.
In the discussions, the club gained the impression that the ideas of both sides fit well together – one reason why the personnel decision could be made early. Accordingly, the recognition for Andreas and Georg Wagner is also clear in the club's environment: they not only secured a transitional phase, but also paved the way for the solution now found by establishing the contact.
Krzyminski Ends Planned Break – Convinced by the Discussions
For Krzyminski himself, the move to Lindau was not initially a given. After the mutual separation from VfR Dostluk Osterode, he had originally planned a break. However, the discussions with those responsible at FC Lindau quickly led to a change of mind.
"Already after the first phone calls with Timo, it was clear to me how much he burns and lives for this club. Therefore, I didn't have to think long and quickly gave my commitment for the coming season," says Krzyminski.
With the early clarification of the coaching question, FC Lindau hopes for successful sporting months – and for a process that goes beyond results: a more stable structure in everyday life, a team with clear orientation, and a new start that visibly begins on the pitch but is intended to have a lasting effect within the club.
